ICUEE 2013, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition, will be held Oct. 1-3 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY.
ICUEE, known as The Demo Expo, connects utilities and construction contractors with experts from leading manufacturers and service providers to discuss and compare the latest product innovations and to operate the equipment in job-like conditions. Attendees will find more than 25 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits and product demonstrations. For full show details, visit www.icuee.com.
From long haul, middle mile projects to last mile and micro fiber enterprise installations, Condux has developed the Gulfstream line of fiber optic cable blowers to meet a wide range of installation needs. Condux blowers are specially designed to handle all types of fiber and all types of installations.
The Gulfstream 400 is ideally suited for long-haul and middle-mile projects, while the Gulfstream 200 micro fiber optic cable blower is ideal for FTTH and Enterprise micro fiber installations
The APS75 Hydraulic Underground Cable Puller also on display at ICUEE provides up to 7,500 pounds of continuous pulling power to tackle a comprehensive range of pulling applications. Designed for installing underground cable, the APS75 is completely self-contained and transports easily from jobsite to jobsite.
TT Technologies will be displaying its full line of trenchless Grundomat piercing tools, Grundoram pipe ramming tools and Grundoburst and Grundocrack pipe bursting tools at ICUEE 2013. Attendees can see industry leading trenchless equipment including recently introduced pipe ramming adapters. The new standard components are able to facilitate direct connections to 108-inch and 120-inch steel pipe. The company offers world’s largest, in-stock inventory of pneumatic pipe ramming gear able to accommodate 4- through 120-inch casing installations.
TT Technologies will display its line of Grundomat horizontal boring tools, as well as the Grundoburst static pipe bursting system and Grundocrack pneumatic pipe bursting tools. Seventeen models of Grundomat tools, from 1 3/4 inches to 7 inches in diameter, are available for horizontal boring distances from 50 feet to 150 feet.
The Grundoburst utilizes a specially designed bladed cutter head to make bursting ductile iron and steel pipe possible. Grundocrack tools can be used to burst pipe from 4 to 54 inches.

CASE Construction Equipment
At ICUEE, CASE Construction Equipment will demonstration new and popular products at their outdoor booth. Featured products will include:
• The CASE 590 Super N backhoe loader: The 590 Super N features a 3.4-liter, turbocharged 108-horsepower engine outfitted with cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) emissions control technology. The Tier 4 Interim engine burns cleaner while delivering superior horsepower, faster response and 5 percent better fuel efficiency under load compared to previous models.
• CASE Alpha Series skid steer loaders: CASE recently introduced updates to its line of skid steer loaders that meet the federal Tier 4 Final emission standard with upgrades to four products in its Alpha Series line, including the SR175 and SV185 medium-frame skid steers. The SR175 boasts a 21 percent higher peak torque rise at 1800 rpm compared to the previous model, and goes from 60 to 67 gross horsepower, a 12 percent increase. The SV185 remains at 60 gross horsepower and has 7 percent more torque than the previous version.
• CASE F Series wheel loaders: F Series wheel loaders offer increases in fuel efficiency while delivering faster acceleration and quicker cycle times compared to previous E Series models. These models are available in standard Z-bar, extended reach and tool-carrier configurations. Case chose selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology for its F Series wheel loaders to meet Tier 4 Interim emissions standards based on the machine’s application tasks and power demands. The benefits of SCR technology are greater efficiency and reduced downtime due to the elimination of heightened fuel burn or diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration.
CASE also will showcase ProCare: a suite of product assurances that includes a three-year Advanced CASE SiteWatch telematics subscription, a three-year/3,000-hour full-machine factory warranty, and a three-year/3,000-hour planned maintenance contract on select 2013 new heavy CASE machines sold through equipment dealers, including full-size excavators, full-size wheel loaders and motor graders.
CASE will also feature its SiteWatch telematics, remote monitoring and data reporting program that provides customers with actionable information to help manage their fleets and optimize machine performance. This includes data related to performance metrics, idle-time analytics, scheduled maintenance intervals, machine health reporting and programmable security alerts.
