Hobas Pipe USA Rolls Out CCFRPM Pipe

Centrifugally cast, fiberglass-reinforced, polymer mortar (CCFRPM) Hobas pipe is inherently corrosion resistant and lasts 100 years or more providing a very low life-cycle cost.

After more than a quarter-century of reliable service, most U.S. municipalities have used non-metallic Hobas pipe in new construction and rehab in critical installations. Potable water is a key application, but is widely used for sanitary and storm sewers and other corrosive environments.

Contractors prefer its leak-free, push-together joints that reduce installation time and costs. Main Hobas benefits are inherent corrosion resistance, superior hydraulics, lightweight, high strength and long, maintenance-free service life. Installation methods include open cut, sliplining, jacking, microtunneling, two-pass tunnel, casing carrier and above ground. Sizes range from 18 to 126 inches for both pressure and gravity applications.

Hobas CCFRPM potable water pipes and joint gaskets comply with NSF standard 61 for drinking water components. 800.856.7473, hobaspipe.com
