Vacuworx Global appointed Rob Verwilligen as European business director. Based in the Netherlands, he will manage sales and service, partner agreements and logistics for Vacuworx Europe.

Verwilligen has more than 20 years of experience developing sales relationships in the European market, including working in various roles for several industry leaders, such as American Augers/Trencor and Vermeer International BV.

In his new role, Verwilligen will concentrate on expanding the dealer network for Vacuworx in Europe, as well as providing product support with inventory, parts and technical service.


Hansen International Inc., a Lexington, SC-based manufacturer of hardware and trim systems for commercial, industrial and emergency vehicle applications, has promoted Lisa Hansen Beebe to president.

Beginning her 22-year career with Hansen as a customer service representative, Beebe progressed to through various management positions in human resources and administration and most recently, as company vice president. In her new role, she is responsible for human resources, sales, quality and many strategic-level activities.

The Strong Company

The Strong Company Inc. of Pine Bluff, AR, announced four new appointments.

Mike Kappler was named national sales manager of the Strong-Seal System for infrastructure rehabilitation. Kappler joined the company in 2001 and has served as a territory salesman and regional sales manager.

Emily Lanier was named marketing coordinator (for the company) and sales representative for the Strong-Seal family of infrastructure rehabilitation products. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Marketing from the University of Alabama.

Laurel Maranto was named national sales representative and also has product management responsibility for infrastructure rehabilitation products. She received an undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and a Master’s from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Jenny Beck was named national sales representative with primary responsibility for light-weight insulating concrete products, along with the Strong-Seal product line. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas.


Planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN) made two key additions to its stormwater group in Houston, TX.

Burton Johnson, P.E., CFM, serves as the director of stormwater programs. A water resources planner and civil engineer, Johnson has more than 28 years of experience leading large-scale flood damage reduction planning studies, watershed studies, and master drainage plans, as well as implementing capital stormwater and flood reduction programs for municipalities throughout Texas.

As infrastructure manager, Brian Reis, P.E., CFM, leads the firm’s stormwater management efforts in Central Texas. With more than 25 years of experience in the field of water resources engineering, his background includes planning, engineering and design, project management and business development. His stormwater management expertise includes hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, FEMA flood insurance studies, flood frequency analyses, master planning, eco-system restoration, water quality and dam safety.

G2 Integrated Solutions

G2 Integrated Solutions has hired Monique Roberts to serve as vice president sales for the South and Gulf Coast P&L divisions. In this role she will build and develop the company’s client base and contacts.

Her expertise comes from years of sales, delivery and senior management positions with oil and gas midstream service companies focusing on offshore and onshore operations, integrity management, pipeline maintenance and hydrocarbon measurement. Roberts also has significant experience with compliance and regulatory processes in line with mandatory integrity management planning, and influence with industry and regulatory standards.

G2 Integrated Solutions, headquartered in Houston, TX, provides end-to-end solutions that help pipeline operators, utility companies and other energy stakeholders manage risk, assure compliance and optimize performance.


James A. Cisarik, Enterprise Products Holdings LLC’s senior vice president of government affairs and public relations, was elected chairman of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA).

Previously, Cisarik was senior vice president overseeing Enterprise’s intrastate natural gas pipelines, and projects derived from LNG and other natural gas business development. His background also includes executive positions at Coral Energy LLC and Tejas Energy LLC, and earning a Bachelor’s of business administration in petroleum land management from The University of Texas.

TPA is the largest state trade association in the country that solely represents the interests of the intrastate pipeline network and is the primary resource for information regarding the Texas pipeline industry, providing advocacy on issues related to pipeline safety, environmental regulations, taxation and legislation.


Kelly Knighton was named the new administrator of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Dallas regional office.  She will oversee enforcement and compliance assistance efforts to protect worker safety and health in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Knighton began her career with OSHA in 1995 as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer in Houston, TX, where she investigated accidents involving manufacturing, construction, petrochemical, and oil and gas exploration. Most recently, she was deputy regional administrator and area director for the San Antonio area office.

Knighton graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science in industrial hygiene and occupational safety.  She is a certified safety professional and a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.


Bill Cantrell was named president and CEO of the Southern Gas Association, replacing Mike Grubb, retired.

Cantrell has significant experience on the electric and gas sides of the energy business, and as president and CEO of two SGA member companies. He also previously served on the SGA Board of Directors and as its chair. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Tampa.

Dallas-based SGA serves its members by connecting them with the innovative ideas, and relevant and timely information they need to operate their natural gas systems safely and effectively. Members conduct business in the following sectors of the natural gas industry: distribution, transmission (pipeline and midstream), and gas supply marketing.

McKim & Creed

McKim & Creed Inc., a national engineering, surveying and planning firm, has added to its Houston, TX office.

Gregory Jeffries is leading the expansion of subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services into the Texas marketplace. A 30-year veteran of the industry, Jeffries specializes in underground utility location, 3D utility mapping, utility construction and surveying. He serves on the executive boards of several industry organizations and is involved with damage prevention and One Call legislative efforts, including as expert testimony in utility damage incidents.

Debbie Anders joined the firm as regional business development director for the Texas Region. She brings 35 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing and client management. She has been actively involved with political and community outreach throughout Texas and other regions, as well as numerous organizations.


John Manijak was named business development manager of Michels Pipe Services’ wastewater-recycling sewer and catch basin cleaning services based at the Montgomery, IL, regional office.

Manijak has more than 17 years of experience in the municipal sewer cleaning industry, including extensive expertise in office and field management which he combines to provide customers with optimal solutions.


Arcadis North America has appointed Alan Baxter as the company’s new city executive for Chicago. In his role Baxter will be responsible for expanding the company’s market presence and leading the delivery of engineering solutions and capabilities, including enhancements in water infrastructure.

Baxter brings more than 30 years of program and project management experience, and in-depth experience and knowledge of the Chicago market, to the role. He holds a Bachelor’s in architecture from the University of California.

Arcadis is a Chicago-based global design and consultancy firm for natural and built assets – water, buildings, infrastructure and environmental projects and programs.
