BOND promoted Anthony “Tony” Bond to president and Kane Cuddy to CEO of the Northeast building, civil, utility and energy construction firm’s civil and utility division.

As civil and utility president, Bond (a fifth-generation Bond) is responsible for the strategic direction and long-term growth of the division. He has many years of hands-on experience, concentrating on complex projects for power & energy clients.

Kane has been with BOND for more than 15 years, with previous roles including vice president of Operations and vice president of Civil Infrastructure.




Pittsburgh-based Sauereisen Inc., a global leader in corrosion protection materials, promoted Mark Golla to the position of vice president-Sales. In his new role, he will continue overseeing the promotion of Sauereisen, as well as work with the executive team to develop strategies to move the company forward.

Sauereisen has also promoted Michael Briglia to the position of associate materials scientist. His responsibilities include new product development, contractor training, technical assistance, inspections on job sites throughout the United States, and in-house quality control testing.


National Clay Pipe Institute


Kent Carlson joined the National Clay Pipe Institute (NCPI), which represents the clay pipe industry to sewer system decision makers, as vice president. Previously, he had a 30-year career with the city of Los Angeles, starting as a machinist and working his way up to sewer operations manager. As a result of aggressive cleaning techniques and tools, many invented by Carlson, the city’s spill rate for more than 6,700 miles of sanitary sewers decreased from 1,000-plus per calendar year to 70 per year.



John Deere Power Systems


Deere & Company named Pierre Guyot to become senior vice president for John Deere Power Systems. He leads the Power Systems division that produces engines, drivetrain components and electronic components used in John Deere equipment and for OEM applications. He also oversees operations of the company’s electronic solutions business. Joining John Deere in 1998, Guyot has since held various leadership positions in manufacturing, and supply management and logistics.
