Epiroc USA, a Bloomfield, Colo., leading productivity partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, opened a new Regional Service Center in Harrisburg, Penn. Supporting customers in the Northeast U.S., the new center features a state-of-the-art service shop for Epiroc mining and construction equipment, and serves as a home base for field service technicians.

In addition, Epiroc is further investing in Pennsylvania’s Chambersburg Local Distribution Center. Previously housing Epiroc rock drilling tools, it now stocks a robust inventory of spare parts. This will allow faster access and reduced equipment downtime for customers in the region.

In other news, Epiroc launched the Mining and Construction USA blog as a way to help the industries increase the productivity, safety and cost efficiency of their operations and learn about latest advancements in technology.

Part of Atlas Copco until spinning off in 2018, Epiroc is a 146-year-old “start-up” – a dynamic, new company, but with proven expertise and experience. The blog shares this unique know-how through expert contributors’ discussions on best practices, industry trends and innovations, and case studies from U.S.-based companies.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Epiroc is a leading, global productivity partner for the mining and infrastructure industries. With cutting-edge technologies, the company develops and produces innovative, safe and sustainable drill rigs, rock excavation and construction equipment and tools, and provides world-class service and solutions for automation and interoperability.
