For over 40 years, APM has produced high-quality products for sewer line repair and seamless manhole concrete pipe restoration. Our leading Permaform system and resourceful solutions make it easy to replace manhole concrete pipes without having to excavate and negatively affect the structural integrity of the area.

To simply reinforce and seal the pipe liner of a brick or concrete drainpipe or sewer pipe, we offer our specialty Permacast Mortars. The unique CentriPipe system provides waterproofing, sealing, structural reinforcement, and corrosion protection for sanitary and storm culverts without trenching, while providing savings.

Cherne

(800) 321-9532, oatey.com/brands/cherne

Hercules Shutout seals and lubricates manhole covers to reduce inflow. It significantly reduces inflow at application and makes manhole maintenance easier.

Applied to manhole frames, Shoutout creates a perfect seal, enabling airtight and watertight frames and cover interfaces. Establishing a water barrier between surfaces, it reduces the likelihood of corrosion and lubricates the manhole cover, for easier and safer removal.

This unique solution is easy to apply and offers immediate benefits, with little or no training needed. It’s also job-site ready because it allows easy transportation on the road and requires no measurements or advance planning.

NOV Fiberglass

(936) 900-2608, nov.com

At NOV, we offer turnkey solutions for ready-to-install, reliable fiberglass manholes, from our Fiber Glass Systems business unit.

Designed to be lightweight and capable of withstanding H-20 axle loads, these manholes require only a small crew and a few hours of labor to install.

With more than 25 years of successful installations, our manholes provide a non-corrosive, watertight, economical, and effective solution to your wastewater system needs.

OBIC Products

(866) 636-4854, obicproducts.com

OBIC Armor, a spray-applied polyurea and polyurethane foam multi-layer liner system, offers a solution to meet the demands of even the most-challenging manhole or wastewater structure rehabilitation project.

It can be applied in various environmental conditions, including cold and high humidity. Other benefits include fast setting for quick return to service, excellent abrasion- and chemical-resistance, 100-percent solids, and compliance with VOC regulations.

The foam layer expands to fill in cracks, joints, voids, and bug holes in the substrate to improve structural integrity. OBIC Armor inhibits I&I and is backed by a 10-year warranty.

PPG Industries

(888) 977-4762, ppgpmc.com

PPG RAVEN 405 is the flagship epoxy of our wastewater treatment coating systems. This ultra-high build epoxy lining system with high physical strength and broad chemical resistance stands up to severe, caustic environments like manholes and pipes.

Benefits include corrosion resistance, 100-percent solids, ultra-low VOC (0.52 g/L), quick return-to-service and SWAT certification.

With a 30+ year history and over 30 million square feet coated, PPG RAVEN 405 is a proven technology that can protect new concrete or help rehabilitate an existing structure. The industry leader in heavy-duty protection for wastewater facilities, it’s available only to certified applicators.

Sauereisen

(412) 963-0303, sauereisen.com

Sauereisen produces corrosion barriers and substrate repair materials for the protection and restoration of wastewater infrastructure. Our expertise with brick and concrete manholes includes resistance to acidic environments and prevention of water inflow and infiltration (I&I). We’re at the forefront of advancing plural-component installation methods that allow manhole restoration projects to proceed quicker.

As a 100-percent-solids epoxy polymer, 210XHB is specified to protect infrastructure throughout the wastewater industry. SewerGard 210XHB is a fast-setting, high-strength lining that enables high-build capabilities from 10 mils up to 300 mils in a single coat. Applications range from manholes and lift stations to tankage, structural steel, digesters, clarifiers and secondary containment.

Sealing Systems

(800) 478-2054, ssisealingsystems.com

Sealing Systems introduces Flex-Seal 2.0. This all-purpose sealant adheres to many surfaces and has over 800-percent elongation.

Flex-Seal 2.0® is designed to prevent inflow/infiltration and provide corrosion protection at the grade adjustment ring section or joint section of manholes and catch basins. It’s 100-percent safe and Prop 65 compliant.

The internal seal is manually applied using a paint brush and the kit is designed to cover 12 vertical inches on a 27-inch diameter manhole.

Spectrashield

(904) 419-4889, spectrashield.com

SpectraGrout is a single component, hydrophilic polyurethane resin designed to repair cracks, seal around pipe penetrations, open joints and stop leaks in wastewater structures. The resin is a high-viscosity formula that reacts with water to create a dense foam, assuring that the grout will not readily flow out from the point of placement. The foam solidifies in minutes, stopping the leaks and filling the voids.

The product is available in tubes, 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums. For superior performance at a lower cost, try SpectraGrout.

Standard Cement Materials

(979) 836-8888, standardcement.com

Restore sewer structure integrity in sewer manholes, pipes, and main sewers, in a variety of environments and levels of deterioration, with Geocast Geopolymer Mortar (GGPM).

GGPM stops water infiltration and protects brick, concrete, fiberglass, and steel structures. As a successful coating for 30-years, it extends the service life of sewer infrastructure beyond its original design life.

The Strong Company

(800) 982-8009, strongseal.com

The Strong-Seal System offers engineered cementitious products, specifically designed to rehabilitate municipal concrete and masonry structures. Strong-Seal is the cost-effective solution for stopping inflow and infiltration (I&I), restoring structural integrity, and providing corrosion protection.

When spray-applied to a minimum of ½-inch thickness, the Strong-Seal fiber-reinforced monolithic liners have strengths exceeding that of the original structure. Made with Portland cement, Strong-Seal MS-2A is the most cost-effective solution. The MS-2C product provides high early strengths and added corrosion protection in mild sulfide environments.

Strong-Seal High Performance Mix is a pure-fused calcium aluminate mortar that protects against microbiologically induced corrosion in harsh sulfide conditions.

Triplex Liners

(850) 460-0474, triplexliners.com

Triplex Liners are the world’s best and most permanent CIP manhole and pump station lining product. They are manufactured in the USA by McNeil Technologies Inc.

With over 30 years of installation history, this style liner offers structural enhancement while halting infiltration and further deterioration. Composed of fiberglass, a non-porous inner membrane and epoxy resin, the CIP liner is custom-fitted to each unique structure – from the ring and cover to the invert channel.

The liner bonds to a wet or dry surface and can be installed in a typical sewer manhole in 4-6 hours. Complimentary estimates are available.
