Andy Dettmer, Ph.D., P.E., joined RJN’s leadership team as vice president of Water Services, overseeing expansion of the professional engineering consulting firm’s potable water services. With more than 20 years of experience in engineering and project management, Dettmer is a recognized leader in the assessment and renewal of pressure systems, and for having in-depth knowledge and practical application of advanced inspection technologies and rehabilitation methods.

Jeremy Nakashima, P.E., was promoted to lead the wastewater practice of planning, engineering and program management for Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN). With more than 23 years of project management and design engineering experience, he has been with LAN since 2010, most recently as regional manager overseeing infrastructure projects in the Midwest area.

Mathew Busby, P.E., joined the firm as a project manager overseeing municipal infrastructure projects in North Texas. He has more than 10 years of experience developing solutions for municipal clients, designing projects ranging from utility relocations and pipelines, to pump stations and treatment plants.

Kristan Koch was promoted to CFO, Civil & Utility Division, at BOND, the Northeast’s premier building, civil, utility and energy construction firm, overseeing the accounting and financial management of the Division. She plays a key role in aligning overall strategy with bottom-line performance, engaging with corporate leadership to implement policies and procedures that drive growth and improve operational efficiencies. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction management industry, Koch joined BOND in January 2017 as division controller.

Bruce Brown joined the same BOND division, as vice president, Southern New England, strengthening company services in Connecticut, western Massachusetts and affiliated regions. He brings more than 34 years of construction and business management experience across diverse energy projects.

Arthur Elkins, Jr. was selected as the first-ever inspector general of WSSC, Maryland’s largest water utility serving Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. Operating independently from WSSC management and reporting directly to its board of commissioners, Elkins is responsible for conducting, supervising and coordinating audits, investigations and reviews of the utility’s operations.

He has a wealth of experience, most recently as inspector general for both the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, and previously in other federal service roles, as well as prosecuting attorney and public defender at the county level in Ohio.

Neville Missen joined McLaughlin Group Inc. as applications engineer for auger boring equipment, On Target steering systems and steerable rock systems. In this role, he works with contractors, dealers and the McLaughlin team to develop innovative equipment solutions that will continue to advance its expertise in the underground construction industry.

A native of Australia and industry veteran who has played an integral role in developing microtunneling equipment and steerable rock systems, Missen has owned, operated and managed several businesses and served as an equipment sales representative for Vermeer Australia.

Gannett Fleming
Sharon Berger, JD, CCM, is the new vice president and project executive of the Construction Services business line in New York, N.Y. With nearly 20 years in public and private sector management positions, she has successfully led multimillion-dollar projects for clients across the New York metropolitan area’s rail, infrastructure and vertical construction markets.

Hunting Trenchless
Paul Ebersole joined Hunting Trenchless’ expert team of regional sales representatives, bringing more than two decades of experience in HDD training, operation and sales.

Traveling extensively during his career, Ebersole has drilled in every imaginable soil condition - including rock - and helped customers choose the right tooling for each job. He has also served the industry from the contractor side, a valuable perspective for working with Hunting distributors and customers.

Stephanie McCall was appointed as vice president of key accounts. With more than 12 years of Volvo CE experience, she has worked as a key account specialist, government sales and marketing manager, federal government business director, government channel sales and marketing director, and senior director of domestic sales for Mack Defense.

Stephen Lanahan, design engineer II in Shippensburg, Pa, received the SAE International/AEM Outstanding Young Engineer Award. Graduating from York College with a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, he has worked at Volvo for five years in various cost reduction, product maintenance, and product development projects focused on compaction machines. An internship at Volvo during his college years led to his full-time position.

Felling Trailers
Jason Worley is the new regional sales manager at Felling Trailers Inc., a national leader in industrial and commercial trailers, responsible for all sales development, activity and dealer support within the Southeast U.S. He has several years of experience in the underground HDD equipment and environmental products industry, which has included working with Felling in several different capacities.

Brett Caldwell joined Geophysical Survey Systems Inc. as technical applications specialist supporting the geophysical, geotechnical, environmental and academic markets. He is a GPR technician and manager, with a diverse background in geosciences and construction.

Darrin Harn is the new territory sales manager, based in Wisconsin, for the Midwestern region of ALLU Group Inc., headquartered in East Brunswick, N.J. He brings decades of construction and agricultural sales experience, including 13 years in sales and service support for Kuhn North America, and as a territory manager for ALLU from 2006 to 2011.

Greeley and Hansen
Eyad Mizian joined Greeley and Hansen, a global civil and environmental engineering, architectural, and management consulting firm, as managing director of the Mid-Atlantic Operating Group. He has more than 25 years of experience leading engineering teams in the planning, design, and construction of complex water and wastewater projects for major capital improvement programs in the U.S. and United Arab Emirates.
