Astec Underground RT460
The Astec RT460 trencher provides extra traction with its four-wheel drive axles with both front and rear limited-slip differentials.
The RT460 utilizes a full-floating axle design to withstand heavy loads for long life. The dual hydrostatic drive system provides better return on investment and low maintenance costs because it eliminates troublesome belts, clutches, chains, shafts and sprockets. And it offers a range of working and transport speeds to accommodate a wide variety of applications and operating conditions. The RT460 is powered by a four-cylinder Kubota diesel engine that packs 37 hp. A spacious operator compartment features conveniently located, low-effort controls, full instrumentation and excellent visibility for safe operation.
