Industry Veteran Trent Ralston Passes


Trent H. Ralston, 71, passed away on Nov. 9, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH.

Ralston was founder and president of TRB Specialty Rehabilitation Inc. in Gambrills, MD, and held patents relating to a robotic sealing device. He had over 30 years of experience in the pipeline construction and infrastructure rehabilitation industries. In 1999 Ralston retired after selling the business, and moved with his wife, Rita, to Nashua, NH.

Ralston served as the past chairman of NASTT (North American Society for Trenchless Technology) and a past president of NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies). He received lifetime achievement awards from both associations.

Ralston was educated in Ohio, having attended both Denison University in Granville and Ohio State University. Trent also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

Ralston is predeceased in death by a son, Jeffrey, who died in September 2000. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rita; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Rakesh Khurana; and three grandchildren, Sonia, Nalini and Jai.
