Case Announces Sweepstakes Winners Online, Offers Recession-Friendly Promotion

Case Construction Equipment is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its skid steer loader by announcing the winners of three new Case 430 skid steers and other prizes in a live webcast 1 p.m. Central on December 14.

The sweepstakes is the culmination of the 2009 Rockin’ Block Party program, which has invited customers throughout the year to demo a skid steer loader personally and enter to win one. Case says the program has raised more than $50,000 in support of local Habitat for Humanity affiliates across North America. The Case 430 loaders given away Dec. 14 are valued at approximately $47,000 each.

For those planning for the year ahead, Case is promoting a six month no-payments, no-interest plan for purchasing new construction equipment until December 31, 2009. The program is targeted especially to contractors gearing up for possible 2010 stimulus projects.

“The six-month no-payment offer will help our customers put new Case equipment to work today and delay payment as late as next summer—which will enable current cash flow utilization for other areas of their business. It’s also a great program for customers who want to take advantage of tax depreciation programs by year end,” said Ion Warner, senior director of marketing.

The company noted that new equipment purchases made by December 31, 2009, may qualify for a one-time 50-percent tax depreciation bonus through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
