Passing of Torch At KS Energy Services

Dennis Klumb, Jr. was promoted to the position of president and chief operation officer of KS Energy Services, effective Aug. 1.

He replaces Dennis Klumb, Sr., who remains with the company serving as chairman of the board.

Prior to helping to start KS Energy Services, along with Tom Schaitel, Rick Klumb, Shawn Klumb and Mike Klumb, Klumb, Jr. served as president of Arby Construction (1998-2004) and as senior vice president of gas with Quanta Services (2002-2004).

Klumb, Jr. holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and a law degree from Hamline University Law School. He is a member of the California and Wisconsin Sate Bars. Klumb, Jr. serves on the board of directors of the Midwest Energy Association and is the past chairman of the board for the Wisconsin Underground Contractors Association, past chairman of the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin and a former director for the Distribution Contractors Association.
