Laney Names Kevin Fox CEO
Laney Directional Drilling Co., a leading provider of horizontal directional drilling services to the energy, telecommunications and infrastructure sectors, announced the appointment of Kevin R. Fox as chief executive officer.
Fox joins Laney after a 19-year career with Willbros Group Inc. where most recently he was president of the Willbros Construction division of Willbros Group and had previously served as president of Willbros Engineering. During his 23-year career, Fox has performed various engineering functions, managed EPC projects, directed multiple-project programs, and has held numerous senior management positions with increasing responsibility since joining Willbros in 1991. From 1987 to 1991, he was employed by Butler Manufacturing Co. as a structural engineer.
“Kevin is an accomplished executive in pipeline construction,” said Marcus Laney, founder of Laney. “He has a unique blend of technical and commercial expertise, and is a natural leader who brings the best out of the teams he has managed. We are thrilled to have Kevin on the Laney team.”
Fox is a registered professional engineer in 23 states and is a certified Project Management Professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.
