Plastic pipe offerings from McElroy, Georg Fischer Piping Systems, Ritmo America, Footage Tools,
Q-TEK and IPEX Inc.

McElroy
McElroy’s new PitBull 26 fusion machine is compact, lightweight and rugged with the ability to butt fuse pipe sizes from 2-inch IPS through 6-inch DIPS and all models come standard with a 6-inch IPS insert set. With a design similar to the McElroy’s popular PitBull 14, the PitBull 26 features McElroy’s patented Centerline Guidance System and a semi-automatic locking cam system that maintains force during the cooling cycle. Contractors and pipeliners that already own McElroy’s PolyPorter and PolyHorse can continue to use those tools with the new PitBull 26 for enhanced productivity. 918.836.8611, www.mcelroy.com

Large diameter, molded fittings are now available for Georg Fischer PVC and CPVC Schedule 80 Piping Systems. The fittings are available in 45-degree elbows, 90-degree elbows, tees, couplings, flanges, reducer bushings and caps in 10- and 12-inch sizes. The full Schedule 80 offering includes sizes from ½ to 12 inches. Designed for handling a broad range of fluids, the PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) Schedule 80 Piping Systems feature high chemical and corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols and other corrosives, offering a durable solution for a variety of industrial applications. PVC and CPVC thermoplastics will not rust, scale or pit and are extremely lightweight, making installation faster and easier and significantly less expensive that steel alloy or lined steel. Both PVC and CPVC Schedule 80 pipe and fittings meet the requirements of NSF 14 and NSF 61 as suitable for potable water and conform to the UPC requirements. 800.854.4090, www.gfpiping.com

IPEX Inc.

For a stronger, more reliable leak-proof seal, Friatec has engineered a smarter than traditional fusion system. Friatec couplings feature an exposed coil design that provides a strong seal. The heat, created by the electrical current passing through the exposed coil, is transferred directly to the PE pipe. And the coil protrudes from the interior surface of the coupling. When the pipe is heated, the coil sinks into it creating a much stronger bond. The Friatec Electrofusion system is ideal for HDD and other trenchless applications. 800.463.9572, www.ipexinc.com
