Support Poles When Trenching/Excavating With VER-T-POL

The VER-T-POL, a product of Oklahoma Design Technologies, is used to support poles for trenching or excavation during utility work, such as replacing water lines and sewer lines.

By eliminating the need to relocate poles and having crews or trucks on location to support the poles, utility projects can proceed on schedule, significantly reducing cost. The VER-T-POL also provides for a safer working environment for crews in the trench.

The VER-T-POL is a complete pole support system that transfers the entire weight of a utility pole to the support thereby maintaining the pole in a vertical position. Portable, yet very strong and stable, the VER-T-POL can support up to 42,000 pounds working load limit and is quickly set up by one or two persons in about 12 minutes. Made of high tensile aluminum and steel, the VER-T-POL has a base support with three support legs and an upright support section called the “adapter” that is held securely to the base support.

The VER-T-POL has been used to support a wide variety of poles from 25-foot distribution poles to 80-foot transmission poles. For increased employee and worksite safety and to provide more room to access the trench than supporting the pole with an electrical utility’s truck, the VER-T-POL is an indispensable tool. 866.352.1855, www.oklahomadesigntech.com
