Compact track loaders from Bobcat, Case, Kubota Tractor Corp., Caterpillar, New Holland, John Deere and Terex.
Bobcat
The new T770 compact track loader has vertical-lift-path arms and a height-to-hinge pin measurement of 132 inches — 3.5 inches higher than the K-Series loaders. With an operating weight of 10,887 pounds, it has a rated operating capacity of 3,100 pounds and is powered by a Tier III 92-hp water-cooled diesel engine. Maximum travel speed in 6.6 miles per hour (single speed) and 10.7 miles per hour (two speed option). Tipping load is 8,857 pounds. On the T770, the standard auxiliary hydraulic flow is 23 gallons per minute, with an optional high flow of 36.5 gallons per minute. 866.823.7898, bobcat.com
Case
The new Case Alpha Series compact track loaders deliver 74 hp in the TR270 and 90 hp in both the TR320 and TV380. Rated operating capacities range from 2,700 to 3,800 pounds. The TR270 and TR320 are radial-lift models. The TV380 is a vertical-lift model. A dozer-style undercarriage is engineered to hold fast on steep slopes and take command of muddy or sandy terrain. The undercarriage has a rigid track frame with fewer moving parts, so it is more durable and easier to maintain than suspension track systems. Improved visibility, operator comfort, climate management and operator controls define the new machines. The new Power Stance chassis design features a longer wheelbase for added stability. Electro-hydraulic (EH) switchable controls are available on all Alpha Series models. Kubota Tractor Corp.
The model SVL75 and SVL90 compact track loaders are Kubota designed, engineered and manufactured, and powered by a Kubota diesel engine. The machines offer best-in-class bucket breakout force and exceptional lifting capacity, providing outstanding performance and productivity. The 74.3-gross hp SVL75 boasts a 6,204-pound bucket breakout-force and a 4,881-pound lifting capacity. The 90-gross hp SVL90 has a bucket breakout-force of 7,961 pounds and a lifting capacity of 5,869 pounds. Caterpillar
The 289C Compact Track Loader’s fully suspended, steel embedded rubber track undercarriage provides a smooth ride, better load retention and greater productivity. Spacious, sealed and pressurized cab, low ground pressure, highly durable components and excellent drawbar performance help operator’s get more done and increase the bottom line. The undercarriage employs four independent torsion axles for a better ride and excellent bucket load retention. The 289C features a two-speed drive system with a maximum speed of 8.5 miles per hour. The electro-hydraulic joystick control of the drive motor delivers straight-line tracking and electronic torque management. New Holland
The New Holland C232 features the patented vertical lift Super Boom design, delivering the industry’s best forward dump height and reach. The new self-leveling bucket feature on each model also allows attachments to maintain the pre-set location throughout the lift cycle. For long load and carry operations, the optional Glide Ride feature on the New Holland C232 compact track loader ensures a smooth ride over the roughest job site. The C232 is rated at 76 hp. The C232 has a rated operating capacity of 3,200 pounds and a bucket breakout force of 8,585 pounds. The overall width is just 79 inches on the C232 model equipped with the 18-inch tracks, to make it easier to transport the machine on a standard trailer. John Deere
The D-Series Compact Track Loaders feature a cab with 24 percent more room than their predecessors and six more inches of headroom. They are also 50 percent quieter, positively pressurized and easier to get in and out of, due to a larger door opening. CTLs have electronically controlled Tier 3/interim Tier 4 engines coupled with a new auto idle feature, providing quieter operation and fuel savings. The EH (electro hydraulic) Performance Package includes switchable controls from the ISO to H pattern, the creeper mode in which the operator can set wheel or track speed in 10 percent increments of the unit’s top speed, and boom and bucket metering, with three different speed settings: Precision/economy (slow), Utility (medium) and Production (fast). 800.503.3373, deere.com
Terex
The new Terex PT-30 compact track loader is designed with a 26 percent increase in lift height, a 16 percent increase in operating capacity and a 45 percent increase in bucket rollback to enhance its production while continuing to offer operators the compact and maneuverable operation of its predecessor. The smallest compact track loader in the Terex lineup, the 4-foot profile of the PT-30 offers productive work in limited access areas. The 33.7-hp PT-30 offers an operating weight of 3,600 pounds, a tipping load of 1,900 pounds, with a 950-pound operating capacity at 50 percent tipping load capacity, and a lift height of 101 inches.
