Volvo
Powered by a Volvo D2.2D water-cooled diesel engine, the Volvo EC35C compact excavator is equipped with an auto-idling system that helps deliver lower fuel consumption, less on-site noise and longer engine life. The automatic two-speed travel system engages at high speeds, automatically shifting gears from high to low, according the travel load. John Deere

Bobcat Company
Bobcat’s E35 compact excavator with an option for extendable telescoping arm provides the best of both worlds — power and reach. The extendable arm option provides an additional 30 inches of reach, beyond the standard arm, while the extendable arm cylinder is operated through a rocker style thumb switch located on the joystick. Case
With a large boom and arm for greater reach, the new Case CX55B compact excavator delivers 11,240 lbf of bucket digging force. Its 39.3-hp engine, operating weight of 12,295 pounds and dig depth of 12 feet 10 inches give the CX55B size and power for a variety of applications. Hyundai Construction
For projects requiring small excavators, the R27Z-9 zero tail swing model offers a tail-swing radius of 2.7 feet. The 6,350 pound R27Z-9 is powered by a reliable 24.7 hp Mitsubishi S3L2 engine. The machine has a dig depth of 6.10 feet and bucket-digging force of 4,520 lbf. Select either rubber or steel tracks on the R27Z-9.
