LaValley Industries Adds Mat Arm To DECKHAND Line
The newest arm attachment for LaValley Industries’ DECKHAND product line is the Mat Arm which can be used on the DECKHAND “DHS”, DECKHAND “DH4” and DECKHAND “DHL” platforms.
The new arm attachment is designed for contractors who utilize road mats on job sites with rugged terrain. Mats are used to maintain access and egress for equipment in environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands. The Mat Arm provides an operator the ability to pick up and precisely place mats quickly, safely and with little or no damage to the mat.
The Mat Arm features interchangeable tips, which are available to handle 3-, 4- or 5-foot mats up to 40-feet long and 12-inches thick. The DECKHAND’s load control design with in-cab display guarantees that each mat is gripped securely. Mats can also be safely dug out of the mud with the Mat Arm. The positive grip allows dirt and debris to be shaken off mats.
LaValley Industries also offers certified DECKHAND operator training to their customers either on a per operator basis or as “train the trainer” for larger companies.
