Artesian Water Company Completes Delaware Water Main Projects
Artesian Water Company, a subsidiary of Artesian Resources Corporation, announced that it recently has completed nine projects in New Castle County and Sussex County, Delaware, investing nearly $5 million in eight water main replacements and a new installation.
The projects resulted in the installation of 35,000 feet, or nearly seven miles, of water main and specifically were:
Artesian’s investment in infrastructure improvements for 2013 totaled $13.9 million.
Public Services Commissioner Julie Fedorchak said she expects 2014 to be similar to last year. “I would not be surprised if we matched or exceeded 2013,” she said.
